First Aid at Work (FAW)First Aid at Work Course

Upon successful completion of this three day first aid at work course you receive recognised certification valid for three years. After which the 2 day re-qualification course becomes necessary.

In October this year the legislation surrounding the provision of First Aid at Work training is to change. This first aid course is set to change in line with the new guidelines, however in the meantime this course is fully compliant and receives the correct accredited certificate from the HSE. This course is suited to anyone who works in  moderate to high risk sectors. Outside of these sectors (low risk) you are required to have at least a 1 in 50 ratio of First Aid at Work appointed persons.

  • Simple record keeping
  • Treatment of an unconscious casualty;
  • Heart attacks
  • Resuscitation
  • Shock
  • Choking
  • Bleeding
  • Burns and scalds
  • Poisoning
  • Fractures
  • Seizures
  • Asthma
  • Severe allergic reaction
  • Eye injuries
  • Low blood sugar
  • Fainting

The course will include practical and interactive exercises.

First Aid at Work Training is currently available as In Business Training at your premises for groups.

Cost for the courses is:

In Business Training – £1300.00 for delivery for the 3 days for a group of up to 12-15 (ex travel charged at 45 pence per mile)
